Getting involved in student associations is a great way to network, gain leadership skills, find a mentor, apply for scholarships and grants, learn more about a field of interest to you, and contribute to initiatives outside your University! Here are some potential opportunities our students have taken part in the past!

Diversify Dietetics

Mission: Create a community to attract, encourage and empower students and professionals of color who were seeking careers in the field of nutrition and dietetics. We also aim increase the racial and ethnic diversity in the field of nutrition by empowering nutrition leaders of color so the the nutrition profession reflects the diverse communities we serve.

Associate of State Public Health Nutritionists

Mission: To improve public health by creating and strengthening equitable nutrition policies, systems, environments, and programs for all people through development of diverse public health nutrition leaders and collective action of members nationwide
